The
DXC-S500 consists of a separate CHU (Camera Head Unit) which is compact
& light weight and has a built-in Peltier cooling devices and a CCU
(Camera Control Unit) with a 3.5 inch LCD monitor. The 2/3 type 5M-pixel
(4.91 mega pixels effective; 5.24 mega pixels gross) CCD incorporated
in the camera head provides ultra-high-resolution images and precise color
reproduction. The CCU incorporates IEEE1394 interface for direct connection
to a PC. Also it is equipped with a PCMCIA card slot for storing images
into memory stick or removable hard disk drive etc. Moreover it supports
easy connection to a PC by Hot plug-in and various application software
by a TWAIN driver.
Thus the DXC-S500 best helps microscopy users in image capturing and storing of a high resolution image with precise color reproduction and excellent connectivity to a PC.
