Projection System, using totally new High Definition D-ILA chips,
stunningly achieves the look, feel and resolution of cinema film. The
2-part system comprises a Projector Head containing three native 1920
x 1080, true HD resolution chips and a Digital Video Processor and Up-converter.
Ideal for critical viewing venues and applications such as post-production
units for screening rooms and colour grading of "digital intermediates",
high-end home-cinema, life-size CAD design and 3-D graphics and walk-throughs.
Main Features
- Three native, progressive mode 1920 x 1080 D-ILA chips provide film-like representation of HDTV video and graphics, with rich natural colours that are totally free of artefacts (cf the flicker and rainbow effects of some competing display technologies)
- D-ILA's technology with its layer of liquid crystal eliminates the possibility of seeing any pixel structure
- Separate Projector Head and Digital Video Processor and Up-converter units, connected by DVI cable for greater flexibility of installation
- Individual IR Remote Handsets for separate set-up and control
- All signals are up-converted to the projector's only display resolution of 1920 x 1080, in progressive mode (1080p / 50 or 60)
- Up-converts all signals from composite video through SD formats of 480i, 480p and 576i to HD signals 720p and 1080i to its native input requirement of 1080p. HDCP decoder built in
- Supplied standard with 5m DVI-D cable. Greater cable lengths of 50m or more are possible, and even longer with fibre-optics
- Cost effective, easy to fit NHS lamp for very reasonable cost of ownership
- Superior colour reproduction with smooth gradations and low noise
- Newly developed projection lens employs a 4-group, 13-layer 100% glass lens (with aluminium tube and anti-flare finish)
